Jessica Mulder is a Curaçao-born, South Florida-raised, Los Angeles-based human with creative tendencies. More specifically: a creative producer, content creator, graphic artist, comedian and songwriter. What? It seems like she does too many things? Well, she’s also a Capricorn, so, deal with it.

Music
Classically trained on the piano as a child, Jessica avoided playing music for a long time considering the sheer idea of it gave her flashbacks of being berated to the click of a metronome. Then the pandemic hit, live stand-up comedy went into hibernation, and she needed a creative outlet in order to keep her sanity. After thinking she’d only release one song, instead her childhood love for the piano was reignited. Then, her husband got her a REAL electric piano (88 semi-weighted keys, with MIDI capabilities versus the kiddie piano/laptop she was using to play synth instruments), and she’s been writing music ever since/doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

Dear Thieving Landlord: How to get your money back, against all odds/the time she got ripped off by her landlord and was NOT having it.
I Wanted to Be an Architect: A story about crushed childhood dreams.
Jess spent a couple years writing for the once-popular, now-defunct Brooklyn blog F*cked in Park Slope, there’s 52 of them so maybe just check these out if you don’t have all day:
